Homemade remedies for dandruff
Whatever you do, never, ever scratch the clumps with your fingernails. It will cause wounds on your scalp.
Dandruff is an embarrassing hair condition, but it is not unmanageable. Just take good care of your hair and the flakes will go away.

If you have dandruff, do not worry!

What causes dandruff? Well, our entire skin, from our scalps to the soles of our feet, sheds dead skin cells on a daily basis. We get a complete coating of new skin every 28 days or so, but we hardly even notice it.
Our bodies also play host to a lot of microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, feeding off on the sebaceous oils that our skin produces. Our scalp in particular is home to a kind of fungus called malassezia fungus, and its food is the oils produced by the hair follicles of our scalp. Dandruff happens when, the malassezia fungus goes crazy and irritates our scalp, causing the dead skin to shed a lot faster. So, instead of shedding the dead skin cells of our scalp for a month, the shedding happens in less than two weeks, and the oil that our hair follicles produce cause these dead skin cells to clump together and become dandruff. Until now, the factors that trigger this phenomenon with the malassezia fungus are still the subject of research.
Dandruff is an embarrassing hair condition, and it can recur despite your best efforts. But with proper hair care, the recurrence of dandruff can be controlled. The best way to keep the flakes at bay is to shampoo your hair every day.
Dandruff can, of course, become stubborn, so if washing everyday with your regular shampoo does not stop the flakes from becoming haywire, the next best thing to do would be to start using anti-dandruff shampoos. Look for anti-dandruff shampoos with zinc pyrithione, selenium sulfide, salicylic acid or ketoconazole as the active ingredient. To keep your scalp from developing immunity to these shampoos, go ahead and rotate brands at least once a month.
For optimum results, you can lather your hair with the shampoo of your choice twice. The first wash will clear the scalp of the flakes and the oil buildup. The second one would let the chemicals in the shampoo get absorbed by the scalp.

What are the causes of cellulite?

If you have cellulite don't be ashamed. As many as 90% of women have cellulite. Although there has yet to be a cure for cellulite, the best is to know what causes cellulite in order to prevent or diminish your cellulite.
Causes of cellulite include hormonal changes during puberty, during pregnancy and pre/post menopausal periods. Certain anomalies, overproduction of estrogen, disturbance in endocrine functions etc can also increase fat storage in the body and finally result into cellulite. The person with sedentary lifestyle that lacks of exercises and physical activities is also susceptible to have cellulite. Excess consumption of saturated fats and sugary items, poor hydration etc. also contribute housing unwanted layers of the fats many where in the body that can later appear as cellulite. Poor blood circulation and poor lymphatic flow can also cause cellulite according to some health experts.
Contrary to popular belief, cellulite affects all women, overweight or thin. In fact, many slim women have cellulite. Cellulite is an issue of fat cells and skin elasticity. Genes greatly determine if you will develop cellulite. Girls as young as 14 can show signs of cellulite. If you want to know how much cellulite you will have, take a look at your mother.
Because cellulite is primarily a female issue, many doctors believe it is caused by high levels of female hormone estrogen. Many postnatal women or women on birth control develop cellulite because the body's waste system can't get rid of the enormous flow of estrogen in the body.
Aging also promotes cellulite since the subcutaneous skin layer becomes thinner. The contents of this deep skin layer are redistributed (usually with unflattering results) over time. Cellulite can also develop after a traumatic injury, when the circulatory system has been disturbed.

Cellulite

Cellulite is misshapen fat cells due to restrictive connective tissue. These misshapen fat cells have a tendency to create ripples in the skin, especially in the upper arm, thighs, and abdominal area of women. This skin appearance is often referred to as "cottage cheese". As much as the advertisers for miracle fat creams or fad diet supplements want to tell you otherwise, the presence of cellulite is not a sign of poor health or even obesity. But to understand the truth of cellulite, we have to look closer than skin deep.
Also Cellulite can be defined as lumpy substance that resembles cottage cheese and is commonly found on human parts such as buttocks, stomach and thighs. More specifically, the term is used to describe deposits of any material (generally fats) trapped in pockets of connective tissues that are situated just under the skin. Cosmetically, such condition is responsible for a progressive bulky appearance with creases and layers of fats that are visible even from the distance.
Cellulite is basically a modernized term for collections of the fat that push against the connective tissues those are just located under the skin resulting into dimpling or pucker or appearing like extra tires. One can check such condition by just pinching the skin around the upper thighs. If you pinch and you get some lumpy thing, the body might have cellulite. Cellulite is more common in women as compared to the men especially in the women above 35 years. However, nowadays, it is also getting common in adolescent girls and young women. This condition affects 80% of women and, with the passing of time, progressively worsens and gives rise not only to physical problems, but also to psychological ones as well.

Anatomy of a healthy fingernail
Your nails are composed of laminated layers of a protein called (keratin), which is also found in your hair and skin. Each nail comprises several parts, including the:
- Nail plate: The nail plate is the part of your nail that's most visible — the hard portion you see when you look at your fingernail.
- Nail folds: This is skin that frames each of your nail plates on three sides.
- Nail bed : Your nail bed is the skin beneath the nail plate. Cells at the base of your nail bed produce the fingernail or toenail plate and are responsible for holding on to the nail plate.
- Cuticle: Your cuticle is the tissue that overlaps your nail plate at the base of your nail. It protects the new keratin cells that slowly emerge from the nail bed.
- Lunula: The lunula is the whitish, half-moon shape at the base of your nail underneath the plate.
Your nails grow from the area under your cuticle (matrix), located at the base of the nail. As new cells grow, older cells become hard and compacted and are eventually pushed out toward your fingertips. Nails grow about 0.1 millimeter a day, which means that it takes a fingernail about four to six months to fully regenerate. Toenails may grow at a slightly slower rate. Healthy nails are smooth, without ridges or grooves. They're uniform in color and consistency and free of spots or discoloration.

A Good Hairstyle can make your Appearance younger
when a woman reaches her fifties the aging process becomes very obvious, the skin becomes paler and wrinkles begin to appear.
The most aging part though is the hair, which now grows white giving the Grey effect that can be so aging.
The difference when the hair is changed back to a more natural color is quite remarkable and can instantly take years of an individual.
Some people actually look quite good with Grey or silver hair but this is not the norm.
Thankfully advances in hairdressing techniques means that anything is now possible. Changing the color of your hair is as straightforward now as changing the cut or style. It can be even done in the home by a non-professional with reasonable results.
A good hair stylist will advise you of the best haircut to suit both your age and face shape. They will also consider your life style to avoid a look that needs a lot of maintenance that you will be unable to keep up. As a rule of thumb as you age you should pick a shade lighter than the color of your hair in your youth.
Not many older women can wear very long hair and as a consequence it can be very aging in itself. Short hair can look great for older women as long as it is not too boyish. In terms of color the use of low lights is often advised for middle aged women as it is more tonal than one color.
If you start to do this before the grey takes too much of a hold you will always look youthful and no-one will notice your aging signs.

Try to have a healthy hair look

Try to have a healthy hair look
A healthy hair makeover is surprisingly not too hard to achieve. All you need to do is learn a few healthy hair secrets and try a little home maintenance.
Great Hair Starts With a Good Cut:
A professional haircut will ensure that your hair is free from damaged and spit ends and will make your hair look healthy. He also will give you the opportunity to get the right cut for your hair type. Follow up visits which include regular trims will also guarantee that your hair will look and feel its best.
Healthy Hair Is Hydrated Hair:
Drink plenty of water. Water not only hydrates your skin and body, it also hydrates your hair.
using too much Products:
Don't use too many products. Product overload will weigh your hair down and make it look tired and greasy. And remember this rule: One product to style and one product to finish with.
Heat Styler Hazard:
If you use a heat styler such as a hair-dryer, straightener or curling iron, then make sure to apply a heat protection product first. Heated stylers can zap your hair of moisture and leave your strands frizzy and hard to manage.
Sleeping Beauty:
When you are sleeping your body is working its hardest to repair damage, including any hair damage, so plenty of sleep is a must. To further help your hair achieve its healthy best.
Moisture Madness:
Try an intensive conditioner once a week to keep your locks moisturized and to keep your hair soft. To get the best from your deep treatment, apply it to your hair then cover with plastic wrap or a plastic shower cap and leave for ten minutes before rinsing out. This will add heat and allow the treatment to penetrate. For a deeper condition, wrap a warm towel over the plastic wrap.
Product Placement:
Choose the right products for your hair. If you've styled with the right products for your hair type and washed with the right shampoo then your hair should be naturally shiny and manageable. If it's not, see your stylist and get an expert opinion on what will work best for your hair.
Balanced Eating:
Eating a well-balanced diet which is full of healthy proteins and lots of vitamins will keep your hair glowing.

Wrinkle free skin
Today we are continuing our talking about wrinkle free skin.
Loss of the skin’s essential fats is another causative factor, which is preventable with the use of collagenwhich is the base of skin care products. The skin loses its natural store of collagen (a skin protein) with advancing age. By replenishing this store externally.Wrinkle free skin care has come a long way since the days when all that most products could achieve was a temporary reestablishment of moisture. Scientific studies have revealed the main reasons for skin wrinkling and offered specific solutions. They can not only restore the skin’s required collagen levels but also reverse a lot of damage caused by environmental and lifestyle factors. Many products have antioxidant effects, which prevent the skin cells from breaking down further. Certain vitamins found in many wrinkle free skin care products also have a restorative effect. In some cases, hormone-based applications can have dramatic effects. Topical application of compounds containing the female hormone estrogen has yielded dramatic results in such cases. Skin peels that remove the superficial layer of wrinkled skin can be very useful, as can facial masks that re-hydrate and nourish wrinkled skin and restore youthful suppleness. However, the primary line of defense in wrinkle free skin care has always been a healthy lifestyle. Without adopting necessary lifestyle changes, one can only engage in various degrees of damage control to combat skin wrinkling.
We will help you to know every thing about skin wrinkles, just follow our articles.

Wrinkle free skin
The fact is that our skin could stay younger longer if we took better care of it. Stress, excessive sun exposure, use of tobacco, certain medications and air pollution often contribute to premature wrinkling of the facial skin. The best time to start wrinkle free skincare is when we are still young. Thereafter, we should make it a lifetime habit to maintain our skin. Parents who guide their children about avoiding excessive ultraviolet ray exposure are taking the right steps. Teaching them about the aging effects of smoking is also very helpful.
Effective and long-lasting wrinkle free skin care begins with using the correct formulations from an early age. Our skin loses moisture because of exposure to extreme weather. Too much sunlight speeds up the aging process because of the detrimental effects of ultraviolet radiation. Moisturizers and sunscreens that suit our skin types are effective tools to prevent premature wrinkling of skin. The best sunscreens have a UV protection factor of 15 or higher. If the skin has already suffered because of too much tanning, we can use wrinkle-free skincare products that restore the skin cells’ natural integrity while offering protection against further damage.Wrinkle free skin care must focus on the replenishment of skin moisture, the retention of essential fats and the maintenance of skin elasticity. The depletion of elastin, which is a network of elastic fibers within skin cells, causes skin to fold up into the ridges we know as wrinkles.

Anti Aging skin care
First we will start with the avoidance of sun exposure. Dermatology experts who provide anti-aging skin care tips say to avoid the sun between 10 am and 3 pm. It is the sun's UV rays that preclude the bodies' anti-aging skin care defenses. Dermatology experts agree that cloudy skies are harmful as the rays that pass through the clouds actually damage or burn the inner layers of the skin. Anti-aging skin care protection and only be provided with total sun avoidance or the use of SPF sunscreens. As UV radiation also passes through water.Sunscreens are rated in strength according to their anti-aging protection factor and are designated by the letters SPF, which range from 2-30 or even higher. The higher the number, the more anti-aging skin care protection available. To assure healthy anti-aging skin care, always use products with an SPF of 15 or higher. In the dermatology manual, the number one skin care tip listed is to use broad spectrum sunscreens, i.e. they protect against UVA and UVB rays.
If it is mandatory to be in the sun, ultimate anti-aging skin care will be afforded through the use of protective clothing such as a hat, sunglasses, and loose, lightweight long sleeve shirts, pants, or skirts should be used.
Good anti-aging skin care practice and artificial tanning do not go together. Avoid sunlamps, tanning beds, tanning pills, and tanning make-up. While many producers advertise beneficial anti-aging skin care properties, the color additives in make-up products are generally not broad spectrum sunscreens, so, do not contain beneficial anti-aging skin care properties.Leading dermatology experts suggest finding problems early by checking your skin often. Fair skinned people have the most difficult time with anti-aging skin care and, so, should be the most careful in the sun and above all finding problems early.
Anti-aging skin care starts with sun avoidance and using dermatology-designated high SPF sunscreens and suitable protection when sun contact is unavoidable.

What is Rosacea?
Although rosacea arises in generally light toned people, do not think that every skin discoloration is rosacea. It will be something else such as acne or psoriasis. The first step in getting rosacea treatment is acquiring a correct diagnosis from a surgeon or dermatologist. Rosacea prescription also depends upon your special health situation, such as an antibiotic allergy or menopause, so a surgeon needs to be familiar with your health history. Antibiotic drugs have helped, especially tetracycline and minocycline. Antibiotics also come in cream form which would be employed directly on the skin, such as metronidazole. Other topical medicines include benzoyl peroxide and tretinonin. If your rosacea symptoms include red and irritated eyes, then steroid eye drops might be prescribed to suppress the inflammatory processes inside the body. Prescription cures employed for acute acne will also be recommended.
In extreme cases, then laser surgery near the nose might be called for. This would eliminate the blood vessels prominently noticed during rosacea attacks. But treatment is not required for everyone with rosacea.
anybody with rosacea will take up specific lifestyle changes in order to relieve rosacea signals. The patient may refrain from smoking or drinking liquor. The patient also needs to find other means of lowering stress rather than smoking or drinking. Regular exercise not only reduces stress, but leads to overall improved health, including skin health. Lukewarm instead of burning hot water will be employed to clean the skin.

Jock itch
Jock itch (athlete's itch) are the common names given to itchy red rashes in the groin area, The medical name for these rashes is "tinea cruris". thighs and adjacent skin, including the testicles in Jock itch develops through sweating, and rubbing when apparel, or gym clothes seal in moisture and heat. The resulting rashes are limited to the groin, they can appear in any areas of the body's skin that overlap, including around the rectum and in the skin folds of obese individuals. Jock itch affects mostly men and occasionally women.
Wrestlers and MMA combat athletes are at high risk for developing these bacterial and fungal rashes for the following reasons:
1) Heat & humidity associated with heavy workouts in closed faculties.
2) Close fitting gym wear and workout clothing.3) Damp skin as occurs with excessive sweating. In most cases friction is the cause of Jock itch, however several microorganisms have been identified as causing the rash as well. Common microorganisms like fungi and bacteria can infect the skin.
Bacterial jock itch can be easily diagnosed because the affected skin glows red color when illuminated by a black light.
Fungus can also cause Jock Itch. Contact with opponents, or contact with objects that already contain fungus can cross contaminate the skin. The fungus is spread by contact with the spores, which may survive on dead skin cells or objects for a long time.If you have fungal infection, such as athlete's foot, the same organism may cause contamination in your groin area.
Fungal spores like Epidermophyton floccosum and Trichophytin are often the cause for the epidemic infections in locker rooms, training facilities, and in situations where athletes work closely together. Towels, sheets, blankets, may host fungus for years. The infection becomes more irritating as time goes by. In severe cases, the skin breaks down and the whole condition becomes very uncomfortable.

Reconstructive and Cosmetic
They are kinds of plastic surgery:
Reconstructive procedures correct the defects on the face or body. These include physical birth defects like cleft lips and palates and ear deformities, traumatic injuries like those from dog bites or burns, or the aftermath of disease treatments like rebuilding a woman's breast after surgery for breast cancer.
Cosmetic (aesthetic) procedures alter a part of the body that the person is not satisfied with. Common cosmetic procedures include making the breasts larger (augmentation mammoplasty) or smaller (reduction mammoplasty), reshaping the nose (rhinoplasty), and removing pockets of fat from specific spots on the body (liposuction). Some cosmetic procedures aren't even surgical in the way that most people think of surgery, cutting and stitching. For example, the use of special lasers to remove unwanted hair and sanding skin to improve severe scarring are two such treatments.

Plastic Surgery
When you hear of plastic surgery, what do you think of? A Hollywood star trying to delay the effects of aging? People who want to change the size of their stomachs, breasts, or other body parts because they see it done so easily on TV?
Those are common images of plastic surgery, but what about the 4-year-old boy who has his chin rebuilt after a dog bit him? Or the young woman who has the birthmark on her forehead lightened with a laser?
Just because the name includes the word "plastic" doesn't mean patients who have this surgery end up with a face full of fake stuff. Plastic surgery is a special type of surgery that can involve both a person's appearance and ability to function. Plastic surgeons strive to improve patients' appearance and self-image through both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.

Men's skin care
The good news for men is that, men have stronger skin tone than women. Thanks to the male hormones, they almost never get cellulite, and generally age better than women do. However, that does not mean that they can ignore their skin and expect to age well.High quality products can help a man's skin look better and age better. A good cleanser is a must, one that will remove all dirt, debris and oil that accumulates on the skin during the course of the day and again overnight. Many men skip toning the skin, however that is a mistake. Particularly after shaving, toning can be an important step in cooling the skin, toning the pores and preparing it for any moisturizer to follow. I prefer to use toner ingredients that add value to the skin, the purer and the simpler the better. Lime, for example, purifies the pores and helps reduce inflammation, meaning less acne and fewer razor bumps.A light but effective moisturizer will help keep the skin soft and hydrated. Add a little antioxidant power, and you can fight free radical damage .

How to know your skin type
Wash your face with a neutral soap or cleanser Rinse with water. Pat try with a towel just enough to absorb moisture do not rub. Wait one hour, and then blot your entire face with one ply (or layer) of a large facial tissue. Press lightly all over your face and leave for about one minute. Then remove the paper carefully and examine it near a window or a light.
1) If you see oil throughout the tissue, you most likely have oily skin.
2) If you see oil only in the T‐zone (across forehead, down nose and chin), you most likely have combination skin.
3) If you see very little oil throughout, you most likely have normal skin.
4)If you see no sign of oil at all, you most likely have dry skin.
5) If your skin feels irritated or slightly itchy, you most likely have sensitive skin.
You’ll need to perform this test several times a year‐during spring, summer and winter‐because your skin changes with the seasons.

Eating correctly is your way to हेअल्ति skin
Eating correctly is your way to bएत्टरskin
If we thought before we eat about the problems which will we face according to our bad habits of eating we will completely change our way of having food to save our skin from damage ,so, what you put into your mouth is as important as what you put on your face.
For that You Will Need:
1) To eat more fish
Eat more cold-water fish, like salmon, mackerel, trout, herring, sardines, and tuna. They’re all rich in omega-3 fatty acids, whose anti-inflammatory properties keep wrinkles at bay.
Make sure the fish is wild, not farm-raised.
2) To Snack on walnuts
Snack on walnuts, which are also an excellent source of omega-3’s.
3) To Have a PB&J
Have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich—just make sure the bread is whole wheat and the jelly is added sparingly. Peanut butter is a rich source of omega-6 fatty acids, which come in a close second to omega-3’s when it comes to protecting skin from aging. Avocadoes are good source of omega-6, too.
Make sure to eat some fats every day. Too little fat leads to dry, flaky skin.
4) To stay hydrated
Stay hydrated—and keep skin smooth—by drinking lots of water and cutting back on dehydrating beverages containing caffeine and alcohol. Aim for half your body weight in ounces of water every day.
5) To take vitamins
Take a daily multivitamin, which will ensure that your skin is getting enough Vitamin K and zinc; both help your skin cells repair themselves. And take a biotin supplement; many women who take it to strengthen their nails and hair say it improves the texture of their skin, too.
6) To eat less sugar
Studies show sugar causes sagging and wrinkling by attaching itself to the collagen and elastin in skin, causing it to become brittle and break. Sugar also causes dark, under-eye circles.
Choose green apples over red. They release smaller amounts of sugar.
7) To go easy on the dairy
Go easy on the dairy. Some evidence suggests that a dairy-free diet can help eliminate acne.
8) To Cook some tomatoes Cook a big pot of tomato sauce. Cooked tomatoes release lycopene and other antioxidants that prevent skin damage.
Treating acne scarring (2)
Dermabrasion is one of the acne scar removal treatments that was developed earlier. It removes the damaged skin and allows fresh pink skin to grow easily. This type of acne scar removal treatment usually takes less than an hour to perform and the results are excellent one. The procedure is done in the dermatologist’s office. This type of Acne scar removal treatment is recommended for those who have fair complexions or those who have darker complexions. Dermabrasion acne scar removal treatment is not recommended for people whose complexion falls in between these two.
Another type of acne scar removal treatments is Laser Surfacing. What this type of acne scar removal treatment does is remove the damaged skin by using laser. This type of acne scar removal treatment is relatively new and has not been many studies done yet. The studies that have been done on this type of acne scar removal treatment have concluded that because the laser actually penetrates layers of skin, making scar removal more effective. The procedure for this kind of acne scar removal treatments is about one hour for large areas and just a few minutes for smaller areas. Washing hair correctly
What we should remember about our hair is that the individual strands of our hair, no matter how thick or strong it looks, is actually very delicate. So we cannot just tug and pull at it, or else it would break. We would not want to have hair breakage, would we?
So, what is the right way of washing the hair?
The first thing you should do is to comb the tangles out of the hair before you wet it so the hair would wash easily and the tangles would not worsen. And then, wet your hair thoroughly under the shower. You can use either warm or cold water if you like, but for best results, you can wet your hair with warm water to open the scale-like cuticles of the hair and wash all the oil and dirt off. And then, you can rinse your hair with cold water afterwards to close the cuticles and add to the shine of your hair.
Rinse your hair under the shower to rid it of the leave-on conditioner and styling aids you have used previously, using gentle strokes of your fingertips. Then, pour a dollop of shampoo in the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together, and then apply the shampoo to your scalp. Take note that you should put the shampoo on your scalp and not at the ends of your hair, as the shampoo would dry your hair's ends and cause it to weaken and split. Also, do not mix your hair all over your head as you shampoo because it will get all tangled up. After this, rinse the shampoo off.
More often than not, we need to shampoo our hair for a second time. The purpose of the first shampoo is to clean the oil and dirt off; the second shampoo is supposed to let the shampoo treat our hair. So, repeat the process, but let the shampoo sit on for around a couple of minutes. Rinse the hair completely after this.
To get the excess water off your hair, just squeeze the water out. Do not pull or tug at the hair because the hair is at its most delicate when it is soaked. When the excess water is out, apply a dollop of conditioner - mane event - and apply it along the hairline, the nape and the ends of the hair. Pile your hair then inside a shower cap and let the conditioner stay there for around ten minutes. And then, rinse it off completely.
The process described here does seem tedious and time-consuming. But remember, having great hair takes time and effort. And it is definitely worth it for a picture perfect hair.

Chemical Burns
Try removing the cause of the burn. Flush the chemicals off the skin surface with cool running water for 20 minutes or more. If the burning chemical is a powder like substance such as lime, brush it off your skin before flushing.
Remove clothing or jewelry that has been contaminated by the chemical.
Wrap the burned area with a dry, sterile dressing or a clean cloth.
Wash the burn again for several more minutes if the victim complains of increased burning after the initial washing.
Minor chemical burns usually heal without further treatment.
Get emergency medical help if:
The chemical burned through the first layer of skin and the resulting second-degree burn covers an area more than 2 to 3 inches in diameter.
The chemical burn occurred on the hands, feet, face, groin, buttocks or a major joint.
Electrical Burns
An electrical burn may appear minor, but the damage can extend deep to the tissues beneath the skin. If the amount of electrical current that passed through the body was large, internal damage such as a heart rhythm disturbance or cardiac arrest can occur. Sometimes the jolt associated with the electrical injury can cause you to be thrown or to fall, resulting in fractures or other associated injuries. If this is the case, get emergency medical care immediately.
While waiting for medical help, follow these steps:
Make sure the person is breathing. If breathing has stopped or you suspect the person's airway is blocked, attempt to clear the airway and begin CPR.
If the person is breathing, cover any burned areas with a sterile gauze bandage or clean cloth. Don't use a blanket or towel.
Stay with the person until emergency medical personnel arrive.

Oily skin care Oily skin care
Oily skin is caused by over-active sebaceous glands, that produce a substance called sebum, a naturally healthy skin lubricant. When the skin produces excessive sebum, it becomes heavy and thick in texture. Oily skin is typified by shininess, blemishes and pimples the oily-skin type is not necessarily bad, since such skin is less prone to wrinkling, or other signs of aging, because the oil helps to keep needed moisture locked into the epidermis .The negative aspect of the oily-skin type is that oily complexions are especially susceptible to clogged pores, blackheads, and buildup of dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. Oily skin can be sallow and rough in texture and tends to have large, clearly visible pores everywhere, except around the eyes and neck.
The goal of treating oily skin is to remove excess surface sebum without complete removal of skin lipids. Severe degreasing treatment can foster an actual worsening of sebum secretion, which defeats the aim of the cleansing. A method of cleansing oily skin is to cleanse with a natural face cleanser formulated especially for oily skin. The cleansers pH should be 4.5 - 5.5, since the skin's pH value is approximately 5.4. Gel cleansers work best on oily skin. Oily skin products should contain very little natural oils. They should not contain waxes or other synthetic lipid agents that could aggravate the oily condition of the skin. A toning lotion should also be natural and have a pH of 4.5-5.5 and formulated especially to help balance and hydrate oily skin. Some cleansing products have lower concentrations of hydroxy acids, which remove dead cells from the upper levels of the stratum conium. Those products should be used on a regular basis to work adequately. A light moisturizer may be included in a hydoxy acid product to counteract any drying effects of the cleanser. People with oily skin should use a moisturizer with humectants and a clay masques containing bentonite clay twice a week.

Treating Cuts at Home in 5 Easy Steps
We all may get cuts from time to time, so we will give you some basic steps to make sure you are decreasing the chance of infection and minimizing scarring:
Step 1: Stop the bleeding
The first priority is to stop the wound from bleeding. This is done by applying firm pressure to the wound using a cloth or towel.
Step 2: clean the wound
Cleaning the wound is important to minimize the risk of infection and scarring. First rinse the wound with clean water, removing any dirt, gravel or glass. Clean the wound next with sterile gauze.
Step3: Prevent infection
The best way to prevent infection is to apply a topical antibiotic to the wound and cover it with a dressing. Studies show that applying a topical antibiotic can promote healing in eight days, as to 13 days for wounds left untreated.
Step4: Close the wound
You can promote healing and minimize the potential for scarring by covering the wound. Scientific studies show that keeping an injured area moist:
• Encourages new tissue to grow
• Decreases the chance of infection
• Reduces scarring
• Lowers the chance of further injury to the cut or scrape
• If the cut is small enough, simply cover the cut with a bandage or dressing after following steps Step 1 through Step 3
How to close wounds?
There are many ways to close wounds, and the best way will depend on the type and severity of the wound itself.
• Skin strips are tape—like strips that hold the skin together. These are appropriate for small cuts.
• Stitches (or sutures) are used for deeper cuts. The stitches are used to sew the edges of the cut together.
• Steri-strips are used to close wounds on the face in those instances where stitches may leave a scar. Steri-strips or butterfly strips are thin and sticky, and usually fall off after a few days.
• Skin glue is a special adhesive that sticks together the edges of the wound and seals the skin for protection. Skin glue is not as effective on areas where there is a significant amount of skin movement.
• A liquid bandage forms a seal over the affected area. A significant advantage is that it can be used in areas that are difficult for an ordinary bandage to stay on. The seal is waterproof, promotes healing and helps protect against infection.
Step5: When to seek medical help
• If the wound is deep, the edges are torn, if fat protrudes from it, if the wound is over half an inch long, if it's a puncture or if it is a gaping wound, you may need stitches
• You are unable to remove dirt, debris, dead tissue, or stop the
• The wound is on the face, eyelids, lips, or neck as you may need medical attention to help prevent scarring
• A tetanus shot is required

Dry Skin Treatment
you go to work on the and environmental changes suggested, it's time to go to work on your skin.
Follow these suggestions:
Correcting dehydrated skin begins with faithfully completing your daily skin care ritual. Be sure to cleanse, tone, and moisturize twice a day- morning and evening.
Exfoliate gently and regularly using mild alpha hydroxyl acids to dissolve dead skin cells that buildup in the skin because of its dryness and keratinization. Improvement of the skin's natural moisturizing factor can be achieved by the use of lactic acid, squalene, glycerin, and urea treatments. For special treatment for your skin, a hydrating mask can be applied to make the skin remain moist but make sure that it will not unintentionally dry the skin.
For a special skin treatment, apply a hydrating mask that stays moist on the skin. Be sure your mask isn't intended to actually dry while on the skin.
Use sunscreen with the right sun protection factor and moisturizer when going outdoors. Select a foundation that keeps moisture in place like those that contain glyconucleopeptides, silicone, or silica.
Take essential fatty acids, those found in fish oil capsules or flax seed oil, every day. Take about 10 capsules or 2 tablespoons. They will make your skin soft and supple. Eat 5 to 10 servings of vegetables and fruits daily, or at least 2 with each meal.
Electrolytes should also be balanced to help regulate the hydration levels of the body. These can be found in fruits like bananas and oranges instead of so called energy drinks like Gatorade since it is composed of a lot of sugar and artificial ingredients.
